Scandinavian cooperation fights infertility

One out of five Scandinavian men never become a father and every tenth woman never gets children, or fewer children than she wants. The EU project ReproUnion has been fighting involuntary childlessness through science, treatment and awareness.

Thanks to ReproUnion a cross-border Patient Mobility Agreement was reached in 2017. The agreement enables both Swedish and Danish patients with certain types of involuntary infertility to receive specialized treatment in Malmö and Copenhagen.

ReproUnion is in line with the UN Global Goal number 3 of Good Health and Well-being.
